Option 1

Article title: Claude “Bud” Lewis Carlsbad Desalination Plant

Article Evaluation: seems like a credible article. There are references/citations made at most of the sentences that has quantitative/numerical information. The article is organized and isn’t confusing to read and is streamlined. The Wiki article is neutral.

Sources: There are plenty of references. Some of them are articles from credible/neutral outlets like Sacramento Bee and LA Times. I couldn’t find a peer-reviewed article as a source, which can make the Wiki article less credible, as articles from journals can be bias or have a narrative.

Option 2

Article title: Yuma Project

Article Evaluation: Article is neutral, has a lot of information on it, and is organized. The historical information is organized, and there’s a lot of quantitative information. The historical information is referenced or cited.

Sources: The sources are dated from 2010, but they seem to be reliable. They are the project details, but the article definitely needs more information to make the Wiki article more credible.

Option 3

Article title: Lake Oroville

Article Evaluation: Article is neutral, provides adequate amount of information, such as numerical and quantitative data. Article is organized, and links to other articles related to the article.

Sources: Sources seems reliable, linking to articles of events that occurred, one source is referenced from an agency. Not all sources work, even though the citation seems to be a credible source.

Option 4

Article title: North Bay Aquaduct

Article Evaluation: Not enough information is listed on the article. There is only one or two sections on the article that the article is underdeveloped.

Sources: links to the website of the agency. However, there are no real reliable sources, such as peered reviewed articles or research.

Option 5

Article title: Lake Clementine

Article Evaluation: The article is pretty neutral and is organized. It links to other articles on Wiki and has a decent amount of information.

Sources: Seems to be reliable. One is from the Smithsonian and one is a peer-reviewed article. There needs to be more credible sources on the article to establish credibility of Wiki article.
