Hello everyone! I am Borg Sphere here, but you can call me Joe. I edit Wikipedia whenever I have time, generally after school, since I'm still in high school. I do most of my work with Wikiproject Military History, but help out Wikiproject Doctor Who and Wikiproject Cincinnati from time to time. I'm still relatively new here, so there's a lot I don't know. Please feel free to leave me a message on my talk page if I mess up, or for any other reason.

Interesting Quotes[edit]

I realize that this section is slightly cliche, but I've always had an affinity for quotes and often browse Wikiquote for fun.

  • "Man has nothing to fear but his own inhumanity" - Beowulf
  • "When the rich wage war it's the poor who die." - Jean-Paul Sartre
  • "War does not end strife - it sows it. War does not end hatred - it feeds it." - Congressman John Lewis
  • "When we lose the right to be different, we lose the privilege to be free." - Charles Evans Hughes
  • "We know that the price of seeking to force our beliefs on others is that they might someday force theirs on us." - Mario Cuomo
  • "Oil?...It's about time that the people who run this planet...realized that to be dependent on a mineral slime just doesn't make sense." - Fourth Doctor, Doctor Who
  • "By striving to do the impossible, man has always achieved what is possible." - Mikhail Bakunin
  • "Ignorance more frequently begets confidence than does knowledge: it is those who know little, not those who know much, who so positively assert that this or that problem will never be solved by science." - Charles Darwin
  • "I disapprove of what you say, but I defend to the death your right to say it." - Evelyn Hall
  • "If we don't believe in freedom of expression for people we despise, we don't believe in it at all." - Noam Chomsky
  • "Climate change is the most severe problem that we are facing today, more serious even than the threat of terrorism." - David King
  • "War may sometimes be a necessary evil. But no matter how necessary, it is always an evil, never a good. We will not learn how to live together in peace by killing each other's children." - Jimmy Carter
