Northern Estate Agencies Group is the parent company of Manning Stainton, Ryder & Dutton and Mortimers, and forms one of the largest privately owned estate agent chain in the United Kingdom.^[1]

History[edit]

Northern Estate Agencies was created following the merge of Leeds two biggest estate agencies, Manning & Company and Staintons in 1990 to create Northern Estate Agencies trading as Manning Stainton.

Manning Stainton[edit]

Manning Stainton is an estate agency operating in Leeds, Wakefield & Wetherby having multiple branches.^[2]

Ryder & Dutton[edit]

Ryder & Dutton is an estate agency operating in Manchester and surrounding areas, having multiple branches. ^[3]

Mortimers Estate Agents[edit]

Mortimers Estate Agents is an estate agency operating in Blackburn, Clitheroe, Accrington areas, having multiple branches.^[4]

Jigsaw Financial services and Ryder & Dutton Financial Services[edit]

Both companies provide mortgage and protection brokerage services to purchasers of residential properties - partnering with the Mortgage Advice Bureau.

Manning Stainton Surveyors[edit]

Providing a whole range of surveying services to clients - partnering with Allied Surveyors.

Land and New Homes[edit]

All three Estate Agency brands deal with Land and New Homes covering all over the north of England working with all different developer partners.

Auction House[edit]

Auction House West Yorkshire^[5] and Auction House Manchester ^[5] together Auction properties across the North of England.

Acquisitions[edit]

The creation of Northern Estate Agencies t/a Manning Stainton happened in 1990 when Manning & Company and Stainton's merged to form Leeds largest independently owned estate agent. The acquisition of Ryder & Dutton and Mortimers in 2021. ^[5]

Today[edit]

NEAG currently operates about 40 branches across the North of England and employs around 450 staff. Mark Manning - Group Managing Director is currently looking for further acquisition opportunities.^[5]
