Two party system

[edit]

The winner-take-all system in the United States has fostered a two-party system and limits the success of third party candidates who may have a difficult time achieving an electoral majority.[1] In 1992, Ross Perot, a third party candidate for president, won 22 percent of the 18–24 year-old vote, his strongest performance among any demographic group.[1] Add more references and topics here.[2]
