Simmons Furniture was established in 1879 by Arthur H. Simmons, a cabinet maker from Adams, Massachusetts and the business has been family-owned ever since. The business was first owned by the Simmons family for three generations, and now the Riley Family: Phyllis Riley with three of her daughters. Over the years Simmons has been through many transitions, modifications and expansions but the guiding principles established back in 1879 have never changed: Good quality, reasonable prices and great selection created in direct response to customer needs. They have been granted an A+ rating by the Better Business Bureau.[1]
