The Template:Arrowsp displays a right-arrow symbol plus non-breaking space, accessible by screenreaders which might process a unicode &rarr (right-arrow) as a question mark, "?" along with other special characters which cannot be rendered. The symbol consists of an emdash followed by a greater-than sign (">") to simulate the right-arrow character (→) on any browser (or screenreader).
Any text "xx" then placed adjoining the template, as "{{arrowsp}}xx", will be joined to the arrow+space as non-breaking text, "—> xx" that does not wrap at the space before "xx".
