Jayden Felder is a New York-based American singer, songwriter, and attorney singing mainly electro-pop and R&B music and is particularly popular in Europe. He is increasingly using his mononym Jayden particularly after being featured with Laza Morgan hit "All She Wants (Gone Tomorrow)" that charted in SNEP official French Singles Chart in February 2013.

Career[edit]

Although he graduated with two law degrees (Juris Doctorate from the US & a Master of Laws from the UK) and worked as an attorney in New York, since the age of 5, Jayden's first choice hobby was singing. His debut was singing during Showtime at the Apollo in the famous Apollo Theatre. It was broadcast on NBC that led into a number of concerts opening for other artists. Taken notice of Jayden’s exceptional performance, Jayden was hired to open for such artists as the O'Jays, After 7, Brownstone, Vicky Winans, Vanessa Bell Armstrong and others. While working as an attorney, he signed a non-exclusive single deal with Sony Music for release of an electro remake of Sniff 'n' the Tears hit "Driver's Seat" and appeared in a pilot for a reality TV program The Center hosted by vocal coach David Brewer. In 2009, he gained fame through a cover version of "Maniac" and the follow-up original release "Fell in Love". In 2011, he released another single through Sony Music titled "Open Up Your Heart" with DJ Gromee, which charted at 15 on the Swiss Dance Charts and hit the top 50 in Poland's airplay charts. Shortly thereafter, he won the New Wave competition for Young Pop Singers ("Russian Idol"). Jayden Felder continues to write and perform but prefers to live his life as a full time attorney.

"Speak No" series[edit]

He is also very famous for his multilingual "Speak No" series the first of which was titled "Speak No Polish" and was released through Universal Music. The basic song is adapted to each country he visits and that country's national language. He explains that this is a way of expressing his appreciation of that country's people and to his broad fan base as he uses local expressions. The basic chorus is as follows:

[the foreign expression for love]

Don't understand a word you say
I don't know what it means
But it sounds great

It sounds, it sounds great

Versions thus far include:

Physical & digital albums
Title Cities mentioned Expression
"Speak No Polish" Warsaw / Kraków Kocham Cię
"Speak No Romanian" Bucharest / Brasov Te iubesc
"Speak No Italian" Rome / Venice Ti amo

With press features in such magazines as Billboard (Turkey) and Ok Magazine, Jayden is already in the public eye as the next talent to look out for.
