Dr.Syed Mohiuddin Qadri Zore.Dr.Zore was born in December 1904 at Hyderabad Deccan.He was a well known Urdu Poet,Researcher,Critic and Historian.He had established 'Idare Adabiyaat e Urdu' at Punjagutta road,Hyderabad.And started an Urdu Monthly Magazine 'Sabras' for the lovers of Urdu.He had completed Ph.D from London and D.Litt from Paris.He served as the Principal of the Chaderghat Government Degree college,Head of the Urdu department Osmania University,and Head of the Urdu Department,Dean of Faculty at the Jammu and Kashmir university.He wrote many articles,authored many books on Urdu language,Literature,including Deccani Language,History of Deccan and Hyderabad.To mention some of his works "Tillsm-e-Khayaal","Sayr-e-Golconda","Golconda ke Heeray".In poetry "Hubbe Tarang","gulzaar-e-Ibrahim","Dakkani Adab ki Tareekh". In addition, Kulliyate Mohammad Quli Qutb Shah (1940), Hayat-e-Mir Muhammad Momin (1941), Dastane-adab Hyderabad (1951), Tazkira makhtutat Urdu. Vols. II and III (1951 and 1957), Talib-o-mohni (1957), Maani sukhan (1958), are notable contributions among his works as well. His commendable work, Hindustani lisaniat (1932), ‘the languages of India’, throws light on the interesting aspects of the evolution of the Indo-European group of languages. His English composition, Hindustani Phonetics, is a significant work on linguistics.He was married to Tahniath Unnisa begum, who herself was the first female Sahiba -e- Dewaan Naatgo Urdu poetess. Her three books are published the famous one is “Sabro Shukar” She was the daughter of Nawab Raffat Yaar Jang Bahadur. Dr. Zore had nine children with her. Four daughters and five sons.He died in the year 1963 at Srinagar, Kashmir and is buried there.His family still lives in their ancestral house 'Tahniath Manzil'at Hyderabad,just beside the Idare Adabiyat-e-Urdu. IDARE ADABIYAT-E-URDU: It is a center for learning,a museum and a library.This vast structure was built on the land donated by Mrs.Tahniath Unnisa Begum wife of Dr.Zore.
