From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This is a list of characters for the fictional sitcom, "The Walls".

Main household

[edit]
  • Phil Walls is a 38-year old animation writer, husband, and father of four children. He is the oldest of three children born to Bill and Mary Walls and married former actress Michele in 1992. He is now the head writer at the new SteelTown animation facility in his hometown of Pittsburgh.
  • Michele Walls is a 42-year old homemaker and former housewife who married Phil after his graduation from UCLA's Film School in 1992. The only child of investment banker Tom Kreig and his wife, Susan.
  • Andy Walls is the 14-year old son of Phil and Michele. He is 15 minutes older than his twin sister, Meg. Wanted to be a quarterback in the future. Bright student but can be a bit of a class clown (not as much as younger brother Randy).
  • Meg Walls is the 14-year old daughter of Phil and Michele. She is 15 minutes younger than her twin brother, Andy. Also a good student who wants to go into show business as a comedienne. Has a hobby of video editing and sometimes does mock-ups in the character "Meg MPEG" (a parody of Max Headroom). Both have a liking of stuff from the 1980s.
  • Randy Walls is the 12-year old son of Phil and Michele. He is by far more of a class clown (especially noticeable in early shows).
  • Danielle Walls is the 9-year old daughter of Phil and Michele. She is a terrific student, especially when it comes to science.

Extended Family

[edit]
  • Bill Walls is the 63-year-old father of Phil, Craig and Cindy Walls. He has been married to Mary Caldwell since 1965 and is recently retired from his job at Harris Lumber Corporation.
  • Mary Walls is the 62-year-old mother of Phil, Craig and Cindy Walls. She has been married to Bill since 1965.
  • Craig Walls is the 34-year-old brother of Phil and Cindy Walls. He lives in Cleveland with his wife Diane (who he married in 1998) and son Kyle. He works as a computer technician. He is an avid Browns fan. (A running gag will include him dressed like a member of the "Dawg Pound".)
  • Diane Walls is the 32-year-old wife of Craig Walls and the mother of Kyle. She is a former beauty queen who finished as second runner up for Miss Cincinnati in 1996. She now works as a teacher in Cleveland.
  • Kyle Walls is the five-year-old son of Craig and Diane Walls. He is entering kindergarten.
  • Cindy Walls is the 30-year-old sister of Phil and Craig Walls. She works as a secretary for WPIT.
  • Tom Kreig is the 64-year-old husband of Susan Elmendorf and the father of Michele Kreig. He works as the CEO and founder of investment banking service Power Investments after 24 years at Merrill Lynch.
  • Susan Kreig is the 60-year-old wife of Tom Kreig and mother of Michele Walls. She is a former model who later works as a fashion designer.

Phil's main co-workers

[edit]
  • Kenneth Maxwell is the 55-year-old animation producer who runs the SteelTown animation facility in Pittsburgh. He is Phil's boss and reports directly to headquarters in Burbank. He is married to Shirley Douglas and has two adult children (Michael and Steve).
  • Natalie Norman is the 29-year-old layout director. She has risen rather speedily in the layout department, which is unusual considering she wanted to be a musician (A related gag is that a guitar is often shown by her work area).
  • Chris Dumas is the 35-year-old storyboard artist and background designer. He is something of a computer geek. He is engaged to WBAG-AM announcer Karli Stewart.
  • Melanie Gamble is the 42-year-old production assistant. She often is consulted by Phil pertaining to animation production issues. She is married to Andrew Gamble and has three children (Andrea, Kelsi, and Marcus). She is also the only primary co-worker with much outside experience, coming to Warner in 1993 after Filmation was shuttered.
  • Bob Grant is the 43-year-old music composer for the facility. He was formerly a keyboard player for local band Grant and Lee (with the "Lee" being lead singer Patricia Lee). Grant eventually married Lee and is the adoptive father of two children (Max and Chelsea, both born in Iran).
  • Tracy Perry is the 38-year-old screenwriter for the facility, working directly under Phil. She is the wife of WRNY production assistant Charles and the mother of 9-year-old Andre (see following section) and 4-year-old Shante.

Friends, Acquaintances, and Classmates

[edit]
  • Ricky Neece is the 15-year-old best friend of Andy. He is in the 10th grade. He is something of a prankster, and doesn't take himself very seriously.
  • Eddie Hill is a 16-year old student. He is another friend, often called the school's Einstein. Was the basketball team's sixth man (top backup).
  • Kimberly Robertson, age 14, best friend of Meg. She is a shop-a-holic, and unlike Meg, is somewhat boy-obsessed. Was adopted at a young age
  • Lisa Henkle, age 12, is Kimberly's cousin, and they are close friends despite fact Henkle is two years younger. Seems less excitable than her cousin

  • Andre Perry, age 9, is a friend of Danielle's, loves science. Mom works with Phil.

  • Reggie Page, age 16, is a good friend of Ricky's before Andy's arrival.
  • Kirsten Anderson, age 15, is the resident brat (think an amalgamation of Blair Warner, Sharpay Evans, Arlene Blake, and Nellie Oleson)
  • Frankie Rodriguez, age 15, is the school's starting cornerback. He is a flashy Deion wannabe.
  • Steve Schindler, age 16, is a science-oriented kid who is not very athletic, but somehow made the school's football team.
  • Ferris Slater, age 16, is the team's top defensive tackle. He was a star high-school wrestler at his previous school, and is quite antagonistic towards both Andy and Ricky
  • Mikey Carter, age 9, is the youngest of six kids, dad is a local TV news anchor (see Ed Carter)
  • Alex Blount, age 15, is the head cheerleader. (introduced in a later season).
