Tippu Waseem Pasha (born 22nd June 1984) is an Indian Businessman,Importer, Entrepreneur,Antiques collector and Social Activist. He is the director and co-founder of Book Bonanza. His net worth is estimated to be 60 million Rupees as of December 2015.
Together with his brother Tippu shahid pasha and family members, he started Book Bonanza.
Book Bonanza, a book store started in the year 2005; was then known to sell books by weight. Today it is one of Bangalore 's leading stores, which caters to most of the bookstores and schools in all of India.
In the year 2006, the brothers further expanded their business into whole sale, which was again a massive hit in south India. Since 2010, newspapers and news channels began to cover his notable work in his business. Local newspapers featured articles on his innovative style of marketing and business strategies.
In 2016, Pasha and his wife Vishaka Srinath were featured on a news channel for their collection of antique coins, stamps and currency. These were collection from their childhood.
Early life
[edit]Tippu Waseem Pasha was born in 1984 in Bangalore, Karnataka. He is the son of Qatar Armed Forces retiree Tipu shaheen pasha and entrepreneur Rakhibunisa. He and his siblings, Tippu Shahid Pasha and Nazia Taranum were brought up in Bangalore, Karnataka as a small nuclear family. He is a practicing Muslim.
At school, pasha excelled in classes. He won many prizes in the field of sports and arts. In his childhood days he claimed to love to draw and play a number of sports.
He graduated in Bachelor of Business Management from Bangalore University in the year 2003, along side working in the corporate sector.
Work

Tippu Waseem Pasha worked in the corporate sector for 8 years. He began to work, while studying for his bachelors. He worked with Ocwen as a senior analyst, AXA as an assistant manager, Wipro as a trainer to name a few. He did a lot of work for Mphasis as a product process trainer.
Pasha a creative and gregarious person; found the corporate sector mundane. This was the birth of Book Bonanza.
Business
[edit]Tippu Waseem pasha started Book Bonanza in the year 2005, along with his brother Tippu shahid pasha.
It was a dream of his father's to spread education.
The family believed in education and spreading it was service to God. His business started off in a small store in a busy market place.
Bibliophiles in Bangalore flocked to his store for its unique collection and quality. At the beginning, He had then bought just 40 tonnes of books, which might have retailed at 22-25 lakhs.
Soon the business expanded two fold. They moved to bigger location. This was when the business moved to wholesale from just retail, which his brother handles. This move gave him a wider buyer range.
Pasha aspired to cater to a larger population; in the end of 2015, he had an online website for his books. Book2shop was launched along with some of his friends. The website is catering to buyers from all over India.
A number of local newspapers and news channels covered him through his journey of building Book Bonanza.Pasha was also aired by a number of radio channels regarding his business strategies and advised young entrepreneurs from different fields.
Collector of antiques,coins and stamps
[edit]From the age of 10 years, Pasha began to collect coins and stamps. He was also fond of collecting currency notes. As his father Tipu shaheen pasha was overseas, this attracted Tippu to collect coins and stamps.
Today he has over 4,000 stamps,6,000 comics, 5,000 Dictionaries,3,000 first edition antique books, 400 coins and over 600 currency in his personal collection.
He was covered by TV9, local news channel for his immense collection. Most of his collections are assessed by veterans in the respective fields.The New Indian express stated that pasha owned one the most massive collections in South India. People around him believed he was hoarder, But his sincere act has got him immense recognition.

They vehemently stated that “Book bonanza s collection is mind boggling”. Pasha here also made a statement “We even source new launched foreign books for connoisseurs”.
The Indian Express covered him twice. Once for his unique book store, and next for his personal collections. The Deccan Herald as well was impressed by his huge variety and they too covered him.
A local weekly, Citizen Matters approached him in the year 2014, which proved that his business was flourishing pretty well and spreading.
Regional newspapers too were amazed by his work. But, they have failed to cover him equally due to their lack in belief in English or non- regional books.
Since 2010 news channels have been covering his growth, in sections of news, feature, listings in the city and various other sections. Local bloggers and personal writer too have written about him in their personal domains and shared it like a testimony.
Philanthropy
[edit]Tippu Waseem Pasha through Book Bonanza donated easily 20 tonnes of books for various charities. These may include rural schools in Karnataka, orphanages and old age homes. He does great deal of work towards his less affording customers, who have a zeal for knowledge.
He aspires to provide knowledge to people in India who cannot afford it on a regular basis.He wishes to start off a foundation to spread education soon.
Personal life
[edit]Pasha met his future wife, a customer at his store Vishaka Srinath, when she had come to pick books during his early days of business. They were great friends for a few years prior to their marriage in 2015.
Vishaka Srinath is the adopted daughter of veteran Doctors K.S. Srinath and Saraswati Srinath. She was born in Bangalore, India, and graduated from Christ University in the year 2013.
In 2015, Vishaka Srinath reverted to Islam, for her love in One Universal God. Her name was changed to Fatima- Zara on the grounds of conversion, not for official purposes. During the earlier years, Tippu Waseem Pasha and Vishaka Srinath worked with each other on many projects.
On 2nd of September 2015, Tippu Waseem Pasha legally married Vishaka Srinath a.k.a Fatima- Zara in a small family gathering. They had a religious Nikah on 18th of September 2015 for Pasha’s family. Vishaka Srinath‘s family did not attend either ceremony for personal reasons.
In 2016, the couple for the first time appeared on TV9 and The New Indian Express too featured them together for the first time.
