PIETER VELDERS, b 11/01/1795,

became a soldier in 1814 and went to France to put back what Napoleon had plundered. He became later lackey to King William I,II,and III. In 1865 he was decorated for his trip to France.

Pieter came to America on the HMS ROTTERDAM l with his wife Magdalena and six children in 1873.
