[edit]
  • I don't think it is currently possible to get mine to GA due to the fact it has to do with a one month old country.   jj137 (talk) 19:39, 18 March 2008 (UTC)
    • By the time this contest is over, I will be an admin, and Billy Graham will be dead. You should be able to get it to GA... someday. Basketball110 Go Longhorns! 19:42, 18 March 2008 (UTC)
  • Every article has the potential to be GA. Some may take more research than others and it may seem impossible at times, but we can still try. In the long run we will improve the encyclopedia.--Uga Man (talk) UGA MAN FOR PRESIDENT 2008 20:17, 18 March 2008 (UTC)
    • Good point. Basketball110 Go Longhorns! 20:19, 18 March 2008 (UTC)
      • I'm already screwed. I know nothing about the Oilers -.- Milk's Favorite Cookie 22:35, 18 March 2008 (UTC)
        • Are you kidding me? I didn't even know how Alexander Grant was! I'm sure you heard of the Oilers, right? Basketball110 Go Longhorns! 22:39, 18 March 2008 (UTC)
        • Yeah, I'm sure my neighbor could help - he's from Canada :) I'm not cheating... And, also, it's impossible to get the article to FA, would FL work? - Milk's Favorite Cookie 23:01, 18 March 2008 (UTC)
          • I don't see why not. I also don't see how I am going to get mine to GA. Can someone point me to a snake or any genus article that is a GA? Maximillion Pegasus (talk) 23:11, 18 March 2008 (UTC)
        • Maybe yours could be the first.--Uga Man (talk) UGA MAN FOR PRESIDENT 2008 23:12, 18 March 2008 (UTC)
  • Really!? I guess I will go work up a nom statement for you :) Just kidding :) But I like your article a lot better than mine. Maximillion Pegasus (talk) 20:44, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
  • Pretty much the same thing for mine. The information I found was mostly what is in the article. But then everyone would want to change. Maybe everyone gets 2 chances? Maximillion Pegasus (talk) 22:57, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
  • Lucky for me, the first random article I got (apart from a disambiguation page) was something I already know a ton about! --EinsteiNewton 23:11, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
  • Oh well, I better just stop my complaining and get to work. Kimu 23:22, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
  • Sorry, but this is promoting adminship. It's no big deal, remember? You shouldn't have to win a competition to get it. weburiedoursecretsinthegarden 22:16, 29 March 2008 (UTC)
    • What do you mean? - DiligentTerrier (and friends) 23:39, 31 March 2008 (UTC)
      • I think WBOSTIG means that a contest award shouldn't include an RfA. So we have to change the prize for getting the article to FA to something else more legitamite... Thisisborin9talk/contribs 19:52, 1 April 2008 (UTC)
        • Why is this page still here? The cabals have been deleted, it's over. Basketball110  Talk  21:37, 1 April 2008 (UTC)
          • Well.. luckily, this page is a subpage of Diligent Terrier and not a subpage of the MPHC. Thisisborin9talk/contribs 23:51, 2 April 2008 (UTC)
            • But all of the cabals were deleted. Basketball110  Talk  00:10, 3 April 2008 (UTC)
              • What I'm trying to say here is that even though the CABALS were deleted, this RAC wasn't part of any cabal's subpage. When they deleted those cabals, They also deleted all of their subpages, so that's why the FIO contest is gone. But on the other hand, this RAC is located at User:Diligent Terrier/Random Article Contest, not at User:Diligent Terrier/Nerd Cabal/Random Article Contest. And by the way, do you want to start a WikiProject called "WikiProject Random articles"? We could improve our articles there. Get back to me on my talk page. Thisisborin9talk/contribs 02:15, 3 April 2008 (UTC)

If this was still a subpage of the Mr. Potato Head Cabal, it would have been deleted, but Basketball110 and I made a deal to move it before the night of the deleted cabals. - DiligentTerrier (and friends) 13:22, 7 May 2008 (UTC)
