United Institute of Technology (UIT) is a private engineering educational Institute, located in Periyanaickenpalayam, Coimbatore, Tamilnadu, India. The college is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE)][1] and is affiliated with Anna University of Technology, Coimbatore.[2] The college was established in 2009. The Institute has signed MoUs with various industries for trainings and development.

The UIT Central Library has a modern central library with 28527 volumes of books and 100 plus Journals from National and International Level. The Central Library on its own way to becoming an outstanding Learning Resource Centre by providing Right Information at the Right Time to the Students, Researchers and Faculty members.The UIT Central Library is takes every effort for provide high quality of Library Service, It has fully automated housekeeping activities using Library Management Software called as “MORDERNLIB”. The open access system is observed in the library.
The computing laboratory consists of 198 P4 computers spread across three labs. Here, students work in high level programming languages such as C, C++, VB, VC++, Java and COBOL.
Multimedia and Internet Programming Laboratory (MMI): Equipped with Workstations from IBM, the lab is specifically used for multimedia programming. It focuses on training students in multimedia tools like Adobe Premiere, Adobe Photoshop, Macromedia Flash, Sound Forge and Maya to develop related applications. Specific multimedia hardware kits are used for multimedia programming and demonstration.
The hostels are self-contained, with attached dining hall and messing arrangements. The hostels afford bright, well furnished rooms with the basic necessities. Separate hostels are provided for boys and girls. Ladies hostel is located inside the college campus. Boys hostel is situated ½ km away from the campus.
