rail maintenance motored double double Originally TRC compressor car 2. Burnt and rebuilt in 1918, rebuilt to Lake Simcoe Line express car 2 in 1928, then to snow plow TP-2 in 1936. Converted to RT-1 in 1953. Rebuilt with new body and trucks in 1982-1983, new crane installed 1984.

RT-11 1967 NS flat trailer double double ? Acquired new to replace RT-2. Equipped with tunnel-cleaning vacuum unit in 1979 and bucket crane in 1981. New crane installed in 1983 and vacuum unit transferred to RT-21.

RT-12 1968 NS battery-electric locomotive motored double double Operates on 600v from third rail or 300v from batteries. Builder’s serial number 2608.
RT-13 1968 NS crane motored double double Centre cab. Gantry rails replaced and deck capacity increased in 1980. Crane is diesel powered, independent of electric propulsion.

RT-17 1973 NS tunnel washer trailer single double 1999 End cab. Replaced RT-3. Equipped with 2,000 imperial gallons (9,100 L; 2,400 US gal) water tank and rotary scrubbing brushes. Originally towed by RT-12 (or RT-18). Rebuilt to RT-22 (2nd).

RT-22 1979 Portec diesel-hydraulic snow blower motored single single Maximum speed 40 km/h (25 mph). Equipped with West J34 jet engine snow blower. Maximum capacity 1,150 imperial gallons (5,200 L; 1,380 US gal) of jet fuel and 25 imperial gallons (110 L; 30 US gal) of diesel fuel.
