Uri Fintzy was born on March 22nd, 1984 in Tel Aviv, Israel to Aaron (Rony) Fintzy and Noya (Nurit) Shor.

Family

Uri is the second of Rony and Noya's children. His older sister, Yael, was born in October 10th, 1980. In May 1987, his parents divorced. Uri's father remarried Linda Ann Harrison, an American from Portland, Oregon, who moved to Israel via the Aliyah Program. Rony and Linda have two children, Sivan (born 1994) and Jacob (born 1997). Yael Married Iair Raviv in 2006.

Education in Israel

Uri grew up in North Tel Aviv and attended the Ahavat Zion Elementary School and Irony Daled High School, he majored Film Studies, Psychology and Political Science. He Graduated in June 2005.

Military Service

On August 8th, 2002 Uri joined the Israeli Air Force and served at the Israeli Air Defense Network as Part of the Chaparral Brigade. Uri later transferred to a checkpoint unit in Gush Etzion and finished his military service at the Arrow missile Unit. He was released in August 7th, 2005.
