Background

Hope for Lives in Sierra Leone (HFLISL), is a non-profit organization created April 1st, 2011, with the unified goal of helping to increase the life expectancy and quality of life for the people of Sierra Leone. Current missions include creating jobs, building shelters, providing communications and transportation, and an outpatient surgery center.

Two fishing boats that were built with engines donated by HFLISL in June 2011

On June 7th, 2011, two fishing boats were built with engines sent by HFLISL, to help local fisherman provide food for their village.[1]

A local laundry made from a tiny creek were some of the villagers do their laundry. Taken March 3,2011

HFLISL.org will be the future home of the Hope For Lives organization.[2]
