Alex Merrell is an American DJ.

Career as a DJ[edit]

Alex was born in Vancouver, Canada to artist parents. She moved to Los Angeles in 2007 and the following summer met DJ Mark Luv (of The Pharcyde) who became her mentor. She opened for the legendary DJ AM at the Hollywood Palladium shortly before his death in 2009. Alex has also DJ'd events for UNICEF, Coachella, Toronto International Film Festival and Disney.
