2.0 Boys is a digital single release by Eminem featuring Slaughterhouse and Yelawolf.
Background history[edit]
In January 2011, Yelawolf and Slaughterhouse (as well as Slaughterhouse member Royce da 5'9" for his solo career) were signed to Shady Records. They then decided to collaborate on a song and release it independently. After writing and recording the song, they performed it live in March 2011.[1] The song is not going to be released on an album, though originally though to be a part of Bad Meets Evil's EP Hell: The Sequel.
Live performance[edit]
In March 2011 Eminem, Yelawolf, and Slaughterhouse appeared in Royal Parks, Michigan to perform "2.0 Boys".[2] It was a very eventful performance, and Eminem announced on stage "this is the 2.0 Boys."
