The Halland Campaign (Danish: Hallandske kampagne) or Haakon VI and Magnus IV's campaign in Halland, was a military campaign and invasion of then-Danish Halland by Norwegian and Swedish troops under Haakon VI and Magnus IV of Norway and Sweden. The campaign ended in a failure for the two kings, and the Danes would instead go on the offensive and invade Finnveden.
Background
[edit]The Battle of Visby spread shockwaves throughout Northern Europe, antagonizing many nations, particularly Sweden and Norway, who, together with the Hanseatic League, would make a punitive expedition against Denmark and King Valdemar IV of Denmark.[1]
