Electropedic started in 1964 by Henry Kraus, the inventor of the Electropedic Bed. His philosophy was to take the Hospital Bed look and make the bed look almost exactly like a regular, home bed; with the same dimensions as National Bedding Industry Standards: Frame exactly 9" from floor; Foundation or Boxspring exactly 15" from floor. Decorators appreciated the fact that all Headboards made a perfect fit with the Electropedic Adjustable Bed.
Electropedic Beds Expands[edit]
The Electropedic Factory is now run by Henry Kraus' two sons: Philip and Lloyd Kraus. Since 1985, they started a division of Electropedic Beds called ElectroEase.com (http://www.ElectroEase.com) which specializes in Electric Home Care Products: Electric Adjustable and Hospital Beds; Chair and Stair Lifts; Powerchairs and Mobility Scooters; Vehicle Lifts and Wheelchair Elevators.
In 1991, Electropedic Beds began specializing in Foam Adjustable Bed Mattresses, because of their superior comfort, durability and bending capabilities. Revolutionizing the industry, other companies combined the Electropedic Bed with latex mattress, and became [2] Today, Electropedic has 5 different Latex Foam Adjustable Bed Mattress Models.

Electropedic donates and assists Wheels for Humanity affiliate in San Fernando Valley, CA with their efforts to provide needed wheelchairs throughout the world. With over 100 million children and adults throughout the world needing wheelchairs due to war injuries, diseases, land minds, and aging.
