The Red Spider is a fictional superhero created by Ella Price. She debuted in the first issue of her self-titled comic book series Red Spider, published in January 2019 by Marvel Comics. In the stories, Red Spider is the alias of Gwendolyne Maxine "Wendy" Stacy, a young woman with genius intellect who gained superhuman abilities after being bitten by a radioactive spider.

Wendy is a variant of Spider-Man and an alternate-universe version of Gwen Stacy. She resides in what Marvel dubs Earth-228 during that universe's version of the Cold War, where Gwen Stacy becomes a superheroine instead of Peter Parker becoming Spider-Man. The character is an anticapitalist vigilante who has an antagonistic relationship with the police, including her estranged father Captain George Stacy. Also among her enemies are the Earth-228 versions of Reed Richards, Wilson Fisk, and Steve Rogers.
