STOP! Amber time.

Hello Wikipedia World! I'm Amber and I'm currently in Statesboro, Georgia hailing from.. well, I wouldn't necessarily say I was "from" anywhere. My status as a military brat being main reason. So let's just say hailing from *your best finger tapping drum roll should be inserted* here and there. Though this might not be the place for reminiscing, I left Heidelberg High School in Heidelberg, Germany with a 3.6 and graduated from Lithonia High School in Lithonia, Georgia in the top ten percent. I'm now a freshman at Georgia Southern with a few academic grants & the GA Hope scholarship. Georgia Southern University is in fact "the real GSU", though the argument shall forever continue.

Amber and Wikipedia

Honestly, I'm a Wikipeida rookie and the thought of creating a page never crossed my mind, but as professor says, Amber does, and here I am, a Wikipedia user. So far I've only put in some work on my ongoing article Travis Porter.

Amber and technology

I'm certified in both Microsoft Office and Power Point. As a part of my school's yearbook class during my junior year of high school I had time to play around with Adobe Photoshop and though I'm no whiz I'm quite sufficient in it also. with the right amount of time can put something pretty nice together. When I know what I want to say, I'm pretty convinced I'm fast typer, thanks to home keys. The internet has become a huge part of my life, and I'm sure I spend way too much time on it, whether it be just browsing or on social networking sites. Those technological items dearest to me have earned not only a spot in my heart, but also names:

• Celly the cell phone
• Lappy the laptop

Amber's Philosophy of Wikipedia

Throughout my high school career I've been slightly brain washed to be very cautious of Wikipedia because it can be editing by anyone. Not necessarily calling you, personally an idiot, but there are few out there. Thankfully enough, there's also a few willing to help out and create great pages and make great edits to actually make Wikipedia a place where I can come for some quick research.

Amber and Language

I lived in Germany for three years and strangely enough continued to take my Spanish classes. Though I spent three years living amongst Germans and got up to a rather high level of high school Spanish I'm fluent in neither German or Spanish, but only English and sarcasm.

Enough Amber

I'm a rather random individual and I'm not too picky, but the misuse of homophones really grinds my gears. I'm a huge texting fan, but the short "text slang" and horrible use of capitalization can get rather annoying. I wouldn't at all say I'm emotional, but the "A" in Amber not being capitalized usually hurts my feelings. I love shopping and I'm horrible at saving money, ironic? I wish.

I'm pretty soft spoken and I'm rather small. I love adjectives. I live an anti-complain life. The "random individual" thing is rather apparent now, huh?
