[edit]The theory, (officially registered as The Theory films(UK)Limited), is a full service film and video production company based in London and was launched in January 2010. The theory was formed becuase of the global recession with both co-founders (Simon Sharp and Tom Jenkins) looking to create a new breed of production company that stretched companies and advertising agencies budgets to the maximum.
The theory employs a wide range of new technologies with its approach to classic production and post-production, the Canon EOS 5D Mark II is a brilliant example of using a high definition 35mm camera format to produce cinematic images that could only ever be produced using an expensive 35mm film camera.
In July 2009 the theory moved into offices at the old Airfix factory in Earlsfield, West London.
The theory has a small roster of Britain's up and coming award winning television commercials directors.
