User:The Anome/geolocatable articles that are candidates for photo requests

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This is a small sample of articles that have passed the first rendered-HTML filtering test. including the removal of navboxes before scanning, and (NEW!) the use of a wikitext-template-based whitelist that exempts image files invoked using certain infobox parameters such as image_map and image_coat_of_arms. Hopefully, these two extra checks should now catch the vast majority of false negatives for image requests, without generating significant numbers of false positives. -- The Anome (talk) 20:15, 23 August 2013 (UTC)

Also added: collapsed divs are now also removed before scanning, and filenames containing some specific sub-strings such as "locator map", "background map" etc. are now excluded. -- The Anome (talk) 13:49, 26 August 2013 (UTC)
