- In August 2014, Jack Studios president Jack Marshall announced his intent to develop a reality series as part of an expanded slate of content for 2015.
- On January 1, 2015, Jack Studios rebranded to MarshallTV, signaling a likely inclusion of other Marshall family members in new content for the network.
- On April 26, 2015, MarshallTime was announced and the original intro was released. MarshallTV subsequently released the main cast and signaled an expected early 2016 premiere.
- In January 2016, MarshallTV President Jack Marshall announced a summer 2016 premiere for MarshallTime.

- On April 26, 2015, MarshallTime was announced and the original intro was released. This also served as a cast reveal, with Jack Marshall, Bella Marshall, Jennifer Marshall, and Shane Marshall announced as main cast members, along with Andrew Jones, Caroline Jones, and Orfilio Pelaez teased as special guest stars.

- In January 2016, MarshallTV President Jack Marshall announced filming would begin in summer 2016 and episodes would be released as they were filmed. Locations would include Boca Raton and Sanibel.

- In November 2023, the Season 4 intro, with the orchestrated theme song, was released. It utilizes electronic synthesizers as a replacement for the piano and guitar heard in the theme song during Seasons 2 and 3.
