Mohammad Rafi Raza (Urdu: محمد رفیع رضا), better known by his pen name Rafi Raza, (Urdu: رفیع رضا 09 October 1962-Present) is a Pakistani Canadian urdu poet, critic and humanist activist. Originally from Pakistan, he was exiled to Canada in 1998 due to prosecution and persecution he suffered as member of the minority Ahmadi population, as well as his dissident political beliefs. He writes his poetry under pseudonym Rafi Raza. He is known for his harsh criticism of the Pakistani military and religious fundamentalists in Pakistan.
Rafi Raza runs a website titled silsla.com and has a substantial following on social media, notably on Facebook where he has created largest urdu books library on social media.[1]
