quarry:query/55472 is a query I recreated to find "anomalous" projectspace pages. My main concern is finding misplaced drafts, as these may have BLP issues that will otherwise not be caught, since projectspace is not heavily patrolled. The drafts are not the majority of the query's results, but the other pages they're hiding among are often unsuitable for projectspace as well, and thus I have been CSD'ing and MFD'ing a number of them, with some help from Elli. By deleting/userfying such pages (or otherwise removing them from the query results, such as by redirecting), we make it easier to keep an eye on "anomalous" pages' creation in the future.

What is an anomalous page? The definition is based on the fact that almost all projectspace top-level pages have incoming redirects, usually from shortcuts. Thus, Quarry 55472 looks for projectspace pages that are:

  • Not subpages
  • Not redirects, soft redirects, nor disambiguation pages
  • Not tagged as {{historic}}
  • And not the targets of any inbound redirects
