Talay Riley (born July 10, 1990), best known mononymously as Talay pronounced Ter-lay is an English Singer-Songwriter, Record producer & Vocal Producer born and raised in East London. He began singing at the age of 4, rapping at 12, songwriting at 14, record producting at 16 and vocal producing at 17. In the early stages of his musical career he began working with underground grime & hip hop acts such as Lethal Bizzle, Ghetto, Wiley & others, exposing both himself and his talents to the underground music industry. Some time after writing and featuring on his first songs as a vocalist, he fell in love with music "if i couldn't write or sing or just even listen to music ... i'd be screwed " he then went on to persue a career in music. He teamed up with friends and music partners Loick Essien, Mark Asari and Parker & James (who all discovered each other on myspace) which brought tracks like 'Beast' Chipmunk, 'Transformer' Loick Essien and 'Walking Disaster' Chipmunk. Today he is know now working towards big projects such as Pussycat Dolls, David Archuleta, Alisha Dixon, Rhianna, Sweet Rush, Daisy, Westlife, Janet Jackson, The Saturdays and many more.
