Hi, my name isn't really Takino Shizuka, but it's my little fake name.. so, in other words, just roll with it, okay? I'm not telling you my age either, which I hope you won't take personally ^.^ hahaha. No, I'm serious. Yeah. I'm actually serious.
I'm addicted to watching Maria-sama ga Miteru and other anime such as Lucky Star, Maria Holic, Ouran High School Host Club, My Wife is a High School Girl, and The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. I don't speak any dialects of Japanese, sadly, so I have to resort to watching fansubs... but no, NEVER fanDUBS.

My username, in Japanese, is: "Taki no Shizu ka", or "Plunging Waterfall of Quiet Flowers". It's just one of my mysterious little aliases.
There isn't much else to say about me... I'm a cheerful, happy, usually somewhat friendly person who will help you if you ask for it... that is... if I even know the subject you need help with... bweh.
I'm obsessed with manga, anime, and videogames (mostly the Sims 2 and its expansion packs), so you could consider me an otaku. I don't mind that label, but just remember that it's not supposed to be derogatory, otakus aren't freaks, and we're just as human as you.
Oh yeah, another thing, I believe in free speech, as well as the right to have you own opinion, so if I don't agree with you with something, I will actually just tell you that you're entitled to your own opinion and leave you be.
But on to a more positive note... anyone who enjoys manga, anime, or the Sims 2 like me is welcome to be my friend (or if you prefer, internet acquaintance), as long as you're not rude, demeaning, racist, swear a lot, or anything.
