Bald Logo is a company based in Austin, Texas. It is a Guerilla marketing company that sells advertising space on a bald person's head. The company was founded by entrepreneur Brandon Chicotsky, and it was launched in October 2012.[1]

Companies or individuals may pay Bald Logo to display a logo, brand name, or other image as a temporary tattoo on the side of a person’s head for a day. The bald person, called a “bald angelical,” walks around in public with the tattoo.[2] The bald angelical is accompanied by two actresses waving flags or signs and another actor in a full-body spandex suit. Camera crews are also sometimes used to draw additional attention.[3]

Almost half of Bald Logo’s profits are donated to the national Alopecia Areata Foundation[4], which supports individuals with autoimmune diseases that cause hair loss.[5]

According to the Bald Logo website, Chicotsky got the idea for the company from the TV show, Whose Line Is It Anyway?[6], and an advertising campaign from a New Zealand airline.[7][8]

Bald Logo was featured on television on talk shows like The Ellen DeGeneres Show[9] and Steve Harvey[10]. Chicotsky was also interviewed on Sunrise in Australia.[11]

Bald Logo has been featured in articles in Ripley’s Believe It or Not[12], LA Times[13], Huffington Post[14], Austin Business Journal[15], Yahoo! News[16], NY Daily News[17], Oddity Central[18], Buzzfeed[19], AOL[20], and Trend Hunter[21].
