Alenty is an advertisement platform founded in 2007, which offers solutions for advertisers and agencies to maximize their online branding and marketing. The current CEO of the company is Laurent Nicolas.The companies headquarters are in Paris and was acquired by AppNexus in 2011. AppNexus provides trading solutions and powers marketplaces for Internet advertising, and on June 4, 2014 they announced that they would be acquiring the French company Alenty. [1] Alenty doesn't just put ads on screens it allows advertisers and agencies to measure if the ad was seen and for how long. Alenty is able to tell advertisers and agencies if their campaigns were effective.[2] The Media Rating Council(MRC)gave accreditation to Alenty on January 16, 2014 for its ad viewability measurement product. [3] Alenty is also the largest independent ad tech company, it sets standards for its industry in viewability.[4] World Web Network, (WWN) a leading online international advertising sales agency, and was introduced to the ground breaking technology that will change the way online branding campaign effectiveness is measured by Alenty. The new system, Brand Exposure Duration (BED), monitors the visibility time of each banner on a Web page. This is what allows clients to see the effectiveness of their ads. WWN has a network of over 350 web publishers in 50 countries and brands such as Air France, Allianz, Barclays, Cap Gemini, UBS, Gemalto, Skyteam and BNP Paribas. [5] Competitors Alenty has two main Competitors which would be Lotame which is another data management platform, and Nuconomy. Both these companies are similar to Alenty in that they are trying to get ads seen by viewers as much as possible but their tacits are just a bit different. Alenty may have many competitors but still has managed their market share in the Alexa top 1M.[6]
