Bogi Eggertsson is one of the best Icelandic Handball players, he plays for Haukar and he is their starting lineman. He won the MVP in the 2011 season where he scored a unheard amount of 10 goals per game

Boxing[edit]

Bogi also tried his hand at professional boxing but was knocked out by amateur champion Steinar Aronsson in the second round, Bogi also lost in his second fight but then it was against former wrestler and current district attorney Sveinn Andri Sveinsson.

Handball[edit]

Bogi started his career at FH and when he turned 15 he caught the eye of the manager. He got his first break at the age of 17 and he used it well, scoring 5 goals and winning the game in overtime.

He made a switch to rivals Haukar in 2009 because of personal reasons but it was rumored that Bogi had slept with the managers 14 year old daughter. These news were never confirmed.

Personal life[edit]

Bogi is a devout mormon and he adopted a son from a local orphanage in 2010.

  • Bogi once scored a 32 on his drivers license, the worst recorded score.
