The Swett-Baylin Award (formerly the Swett Award) has been awarded at the end of the season banquet annually to the MVP of the Duke University Men's Basketball Team since 1952. In 58 years, the award has been presented 82 times to 57 different players.
Since the NCAA rule change in 1972 that allowed freshmen to play on varsity teams, Johnny Dawkins is the only player so far to have won the award all 4 years he was eligible.
