Rasim Timerkhanovich Seyfetdinov

Seyfetdinov Rasim Timerkhanovich (Rasim Safe) was born in Syzran, a city on the Volga River, November 8, 1954. He finished secondary school but hasn’t got any higher education though he made several attempts to enter Moscow University and for a short period of time studied at Syzran Military Aviation School. After military service he lived in Moscow (1977 - 1980) and then in Kiev(1980 -2000), the Ukraine. In 2000 his wife and daughter left for Germany and Rasim moved to Syzran, Russia. It is here where he created a new style in painting, so called “Architecture of Expressive Thinking”[1] (www.RasimSafe.com)

That is what the painter says:

"Not long ago I created a painting and called it “Collapse”. One can see a mosquito without legs against the yellowish background. I might have created a more horrifying picture but to my conviction this pastel picture reflects a dreamy pacification of mankind best of all. People are like a “cloud” of mosquitoes that the “Palm of Circumstances” slaps. And death for us (undoubtedly creatures of God) is something trivial and usual as the death of the Mosquito. Why could Russia, such a Great Country, produce such a fatal system of Good Intentions which devours its own citizens like a crocodile eats up its children? Why did Germany, also a Great Country, give birth to such Monsters that flooded the lands from the English Channel to the Urals Mountains with blood? Why has such a great amount of “not wanted” human souls easy to slap appeared? Personally I found the answer to that question. It can be well seen in the picture “The Architect of his own fortunes”. But another issue remains open: Why are people blind without the revelation from above? The modern world is full with hope that we became much better and now we live safer than a hundred years ago. Yes, we did become better and live safer. But it’s important not found ourselves tomorrow on the brink of Global Collapse which we, God’s creatures with eyes like buttons, will initiate. There are no “Architects of their own fortunes” with eyes like buttons governed by the “wind” political changes. There are God’s creatures able to tell Evil from Virtue even if Evil is in “sheep’s clothing” and Virtue looks so silly!"
