Usage
[edit]This template should be used when there are sentences of uncited text that should be cited. The idea was borrowed from the French Wikipedia, and, unlike the template {{Citation needed}}, this template may highlight more than one sentence of text to describe as needing a citation. Once a citation is added, please remove the template from the highlighted text.
There are three parameters to the template:
- The first parameter is the sentence that needs attribution
- The second parameter is optional; it changes the link of [citation needed] specify what (if not just attribution problems) needs to be taken care of
- The third parameter is also optional; it changes the text from [citation needed] to whatever you wish it to be. It is strongly suggested that, if the third parameter is used that the second parameter be used, too.
Notes
[edit]- Do not substitute this template.
