Susie Wilkins is a London-based singer-songwriter. Wilkins started writing songs at the age of 14, debuting at the Hong Kong Fringe Club's Open Mic night in 1993 when she was 16.

In 2008, Wilkins supported Joe Jackson on the European leg of his Rain tour, playing 15 dates across the UK, Ireland, Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland, Austria and Italy, with shows at London's Shepherds Bush Empire, the Paradiso (Amsterdam), Paris' La Cigale and the Olympia Theatre (Dublin). [1][2][3]

During 2011, Wilkins collaborated with drummer Jeremy Stacey, (Sheryl Crow, Noel Gallagher, Robbie Williams), guitarist Patrick Murdoch (Chrissie Hynde, Big Linda) and bassist Mike Visceglia (Suzanne Vega) to release her second album, Anywhere But Here. The album was mixed by Ryan Freeland and mastered by British record producer Jon Astley, best known for his work with The Who, Eric Clapton and ABBA.[4]

The release attracted the attention of singer-songwriter and radio presenter Tom Robinson, who reviewed and featured her track "No Answer" on his website for independent artists, Fresh on the Net,[5] and award-winning music blogger and radio presenter Andy Von Pip, who also reviewed and featured "No Answer" on his blog The Von Pip Musical Express. [6]

Tracks from Anywhere But Here have since been broadcast numerous times on BBC Radio. [7] Two of Wilkins' tracks, "No Answer" and "I Hope", have been featured on the BBC Introducing Mixtape by Tom Robinson [8][9], while "Too Tired To Cry" was also featured on BBC Introducing with Tom Robinson, BBC Radio 6. [10] Wilkins' track "No Answer" has also been broadcast on influential Philadelphia-based college station WXPN. [11]

Susie is currently a client of renowned radio promoter 'Serious' Bob Laul, who has also worked with the Foo Fighters, Kings of Leon and the Dave Matthews Band. [12]
