Wollemi College (NSW)

Wollemi College is an independent primary and secondary school for boys from years 3 to 12 located in Werrington, New South Wales, Australia. The school whose spiritual care is entrusted to Opus Dei , was founded by parents in 1999 as Orchard Hills Preparatory School, before splitting into brother and sister schools Wollemi and Montgrove in 2004. It is run by the Parents for Education Foundation (PARED).

Strong focus is placed on Character Education. In doing so, Wollemi College works closely with the parents as 'the first educators' of the children and helps parents raise and educate their own children.

Each boy receives a personal mentor, or tutor, selected from the teaching staff. The tutor meets regularly with the student and with each child’s parents every term, reviewing progress and helping with goal setting. He is a constant source of support through his attention, friendship, example and advice. The tutor takes a personal interest in the progress of the boys whom he tutors, acting on the parents’ behalf and coordinating the service of the College for the family.

The current College Captain is Michael Buhagiar and the College Vice Captain is Alexander Cassar.

The Current Headmaster is Andrew Mullins, author of "Parenting for Character", who as of 2011 succeeds Frank Monagle, the orginal school founder of Wollemi, and its brother school Redfield College in Dural.
