UNDALRDS

"We are influenced by the world around us and our hope to reach other kids and let them know that it doesn't matter where you come from, you can succeed and you can capture your dreams-whatever they may be." Z1Nation (President of Kid Nation and member of the UNDALRDS)

From the streets of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania come the UNDALRDS, a group of brothers who will change the game forever! As individual artists, each brother brings his own unique style to the table, and together, they are a force to be reckoned with. They bring unmatched excitement and energy to their music and the stage, garnering them fans of all ages.

The UNDARLRDS began traveling in 2008 to area recreational centers, playgrounds, and various other locations that would accommodate them. With D.I.G.I. headlining the shows as a then seven year old rapper, the UNDALRDS performed songs from D.I.G.I.'s solo album. In an effort to take their music straight to the kids, they showed up unannounced at various locations where they found youth gathered together, all over the city of Pittsburgh and surrounding areas. They put on free concerts and live dance battles, often performing three or four shows a day, in order to reach the youth of every community they could.

Positive Message for the Youth[edit]

The UNDALRDS have started a kids' movement. They put on an interactive show inviting the audience to become involved. They are taking their show nationwide and igniting the creativity of the youth they touch with their music. Their live performance is a must see. With a swagger and confidence far beyond their years, the UNDALRDS deliver a jaw-dropping performance. With hard hitting beats and edgy lyrics, the UNDALRDS have left audiences all over on their feet screaming. After witnessing the UNDALRDS perform in October 2008 at the First Annual Hip-Hop Live Fest at the Kelly Strayhorn Theater in Pittsburgh, legendary rapper Kurtis Blow stated, "Wow...wow! That was incredible!"

The UNDALRDS also recruit other kids to become a part of the UNDALRD's movement by getting them involved with performances or whatever part of the entertainment industry they fit into or have an interest in within the UNDALRDS camp. Since embarking on their journey in 2008, each individual in the group has completed his own solo album and they have completed one album collectively entitled, "UNDALRDS BABY!" These young men are on the move, making music, and changing the game!

Their message is the same wherever they go, "Love Yourself" and "Do Something." They are encouraging kids to use their own creativity and get out and do something to fulfill whatever dreams they have. The UNDALRDS are practicing what they preach by working hard on their music, their live shows, and their budding movie production company, while maintaining their honor roll and high honor roll status in school.

UNDALRDS' Tour to Spread Their Message[edit]

In 2008, the UNDALRDS began touring at recreational centers as part of "The Playground Tour." The performance was lead by then seven year old rapper D.I.G.I. The youth at these events were given t-shirts and cd's. The kids in attendance were invited to become a part of the performance by participating in dance battles with members of the UNDALRDS.

During the summer of 2009, the UNDALRDS launched the "Honor Roll Tour." This tour included locations throughout Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Ohio, and Georgia. As High Honor Roll students themselves, the UNDALRDS offer free admission for students who are on the Honor Roll in school for any concert on this tour. This tour stressed the importance of rewarding kids for reaching academic goals like the honor roll. So much attention is normally placed on the negative actions of youth today. The "Honor Roll Tour" was a chance for the UNDALRDS to spotlight positive achievements throughout the communities they visited.

In 2009-2010, the UNDALRDS are keeping with the positive message to love yourself and work towards your goals in the "Stop the Violence Tour." Like tours in the past, admission is free to the youth in the communities they visit due to the importance of the message the UNDALRDS are spreading to the nation.

Members of the UNDALRDS[edit]

Collectively, the UNDALRDS presents something that brings people together and erases the boundaries of age, race, and neighborhoods. This can be seen at any UNDALRDS show where the ages range from four up through college age students.

D.I.G.I.[edit]

Nine year old, D.I.G.I. first album released in January of 2009 put words to the krump dance movement. His lyrical content expresses pure inner-city, underground, emotion while his edgy lyrics separate him from other bubble gum kids' acts. This combination of emotions and lyrics allow him to appeal to a vary wide variety of audiences.

Pocket Aces[edit]

The two youngest members of the UNDALRDS are J-Smash and Bangotang who are six and four respectively. Collectively named Pocket Aces these young boys are in following in their brother's footsteps in the music business, while still creating music that separates them individually as well.

KG[edit]

KG is the oldest member and choreographer for the UNDALRDS. His choreographing and dance abilities have been recognized on a number of levels both locally and nationally.

Kid Nation Inc.[edit]

The Future is Now[edit]

Kid Nation Inc. is taking the movement of the UNDALRDS even further and on a larger scale. Kid Nation Inc. is incorporating the existing model of the UNDALRDS to open it up to the youth, so that this movement is run by youth for the youth. Kid Nation Inc. is a Pennsylvania non-profit corporation dedicated to creating positive outlets and opportunities for youth to express themselves, while also learning valuable business skills. Many areas of large cities that have the highest need, have the fewest resources for the area's youth. Recreational centers and other programs have been closed down, and in these areas, the city's youth are languishing. Kid Nation Inc. is tapping into the energy, creativity, and talents of our youth creating a movement through music and dance. This movement is manifesting itself through the music of the UNDALRDS and is spreading rapidly. Z1Nation serves as the President of the foundation. Z1Nation along with the rest of the UNDALRDS are reaching out to the youth to give them this opportunity to express themselves whether it be through music, art, film, or dance. This positive outlet that is being offered to children in inter-city schools and beyond is creating a better future for all.
