Dr. Alan I. Benimoff, B.S., M.A., Ph.D. (born 9 March 1948)is an American geologist, whose innovations in research and teaching, have made him an academic celebrity. He serves as executive Secretary of the NY State Geological Association, -----Executive Board of the Geological Association of New Jersey-----, -------and is a Full time professor csi-----. He has published articles in Nature, the American Mineralogist, and the Journal of Geology and has been featured on the National Geographic Channel’s “Known Universe”. Dr. Benimoff produces and co-hosts the television show “Geology Forum” for Staten Island Community Television.
