Josh Sadlon

Bio[edit]

Josh Sadlon was born in Laguna Hill, CA on July 20, 1991. As a young child he suffered from hearing loss as well as underwent open-heart surgery at Riley Children's Hospital. After his ear surgeries he became fascinated with music. Josh first started playing the drums at the age of 8 and became fascinated with the guitar at age 10. Due to previous hearing difficulties, Josh learned to hear pitches through by touch rather than sound. This has been an obstacle as well as a blessing in his life.

Josh attended New Palestine High School in Indiana where he was class president as well as a member of the marching band. He played in New Palestine's winter percussion groups which were world finalists in 2007.

In 2007 he also started leading worship at his church, Brandywine Community Church, for a small youth group. He soon became the worship leader of the youth and started writing worship music.

In 2007 he released a regional album entitled "Foreshadowing Me". The album never made it off the group but the single "Sing to You" was featured on a compilation CD "Unified by Grace". In 2009 the single "More for You" was added to the compilation CD "A Call for Healing". After three years of not releasing a new CD, Josh Sadlon released his first national recording project "Truth". His latest single, which received national airplay during the fall of 2010, "You're Gonna Get There" was recorded at Gaither Studio's(Alexandria, IN). The project was produced by 1000 Generation's Steven Potaczek and mixed and mastered by Grammy Award winning engineer Chad Evans.

Current Info[edit]

Josh Sadlon toured around the mid-west at various church camps and Christian churches from 2007-present supporting World Renewal International(WRI). Josh's CD "Truth" supported WRI's mission to build an orphange in Haiti. The orphanage was completed in September of 2010. The summer 2011 tour "Truth be Told" is currently under construction and has not released any new dates.

Josh Sadlon was orginally with SJC Records from 2006-2010. He recently voided all previous contracts and is signed to Blueprints Productions(Indianapolis, IN) and works on their staff full time. Josh Sadlon has been named a producer for rising Artist David Roger's new CD to debut on the Christian rock charts in March 2011.

Josh Sadlon is a talented musician(drums, piano, guitar, dulcimer), singer, producer and sound engineer. When he is not on the road is finishing-up his Music Business & Technology Degree with a Minor in Church Music. He is currently working on a new project with Blueprints Productions to be released in May 2011.
