Royal Society Open Science is a peer-reviewed online-only open access scientific journal publishing across the all sciences, including mathematics and engineering. It operates on the model of objective peer review, publishing any articles judged to be scientifically sound.
Objective peer review does not make any judgements about the likely impact of the science. The journal welcomes repeat studies and negative findings, articles which traditionally may have been rejected by journals for lack of novelty and perceived low impact.
