Bahi Ajman Palace Hotel is set on Sheikh Humaid Bin Rashid Al Nuaimi Street in Ajman, on the Arabian Gulf. It is a five star private beach hotel run by Bahi Hotels & Resorts, as part of the HMH Hotel Group, also known as Hospitality Management Holding.

History

[edit]

Bahi Ajman Palace Hotel was launched in 2012 as part of Hospitality Management Holding’s development of five star properties in the United Arab Emirates.

It was announced in December 2016 that fashion design students from the United Arab Emirates top universities would participate in the Young Designers Award at Bahi Ajman Palace Hotel’s Wedding Fair in conjunction with Ajman Tourism Development Department (ATDD). The participants that managed to become finalists received a certificate of recognition from the Ajman Tourism Development Department and the Bahi Ajman Palace Hotel. [1]

Hospitality Management Holding announced in April 2017 that it was launching Bahi Hotels & Resorts, which would include a collection of five star and luxury hotels in the Middle East. It was announced that the first hotel to officially become part of this new brand would be The Ajman Palace Hotel, which would be rebranded as the Bahi Ajman Palace Hotel. [2]

In May of 2017 it was announced that Saleh Mohamed Al Geziry had been appointed as the new general manager of the Ajman Tourism Development Department at Bahi Ajman Palace Hotel. Prior to this appointment Saleh Mohamed Al Geziry had worked with Dubai’s Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing after graduating in 2002 from the American University in Dubai. [3]

Characteristics

[edit]

There are 139 Deluxe Rooms and 54 Lifestyle Club Rooms, which are between 27 sqm and 33 sqm in size. The hotel features 6 Junior Suites that are 44 sqm in size and are the only suites that face the city. The Bahi Ajman Palace Hotel features the largest ballroom in the Northern Emirates, with a capacity of around 1000 persons.

Development

[edit]

During the Summer of 2017 it was announced that Bahi Ajman Palace Hotel had invested AED 1.6 million (US $0.44m) in upgrading the hotels laundry and expanding the capacity with an aim to double its daily capacity. In a statement the COO of Hospitality Management Holding, Ferghal Purcell, said "It is a very significant project for us as the objective is not solely to manage our own in-house laundry requirements, but to drive incremental revenue streams to the Bahi Ajman Palace Hotel. In times when despite strong occupancies, daily average room rates remain under immense pressure, every opportunity to drive additional income streams must be explored and applied if viable." As a result of this development the hotel announced that it would be hiring additional staff to help support the growth in capacity. [4]

Location
