Angel Uyigwe (born June 27) is a Nigerian actress. She started as a child actress in a television series Alison's Stand (2016), and gained prominence starring in Three Thieves (2019). Angel won awards for Best Child Actress at the Best of Nollywood Awards for her role in Woeman(2016).[1] And was nominated for Most Promising Actor at the 15th Africa Movie Academy Awards for her role in Light In The Dark(2019).[2]

Angel Onyinyechi Unigwe better known as Angel-Onyi Unigwe is a young actress born in Owerri, Imo State, Nigeria. She started as a child actress, with her debut performance in Alison's Stand a television series (2015)[3] and is became widely known for starring as Fuwe in Three Thieves[4] a [[Nigerian Comedy Thriller directed by Udoka Oyeka (2019)[5].Italic text[6]

Angel won the award for Best Child Actress at the Best of Nollywood Awards for her role in Woeman(2016).[7][8] and was nominated for Most Promising Actor at the 15th Africa Movie Academy Awards for her performance in Light In The Dark(2019).[9][10]

Angel has acted in over 30 Nollywood movies, and has starred alongsides Frank Doga Rita Dominic,Bimbo Akintola, Shaffy Bello, Ngozi Ezeonu, Joke Silva, Mercy Johnson, Ruth Kadiri, Queen Nwokoye, Oge Okoye, Ken Erics, Regina Daniels, Jim Iyke, Kalu Ikeagwu,Ngozi Nwosu, Saidi Balogun, Kiki Omeili, and other veterans in the movie industry.
