Breaking Glass (band) is an Indie Glam band from Sacramento, California. Originally formed in 2008, the band has since gained a loyal local following and over 3,000 fans from around the world.[1]

Musical Style & Influences[edit]

Brought together by a mutual appreciation for "glam rock sound of 70's era bowie and the early 90's britpop sound of suede, placebo and pulp"[1], Breaking Glass maintains Neo-Romantic Glam rock sound and visual style.

E.P.[edit]

On August 23, 2010 Breaking Glass released their debut E.P. entitled "Dancing on Quicksand."[2] The much-anticipated release brought the band to a ranking of 13 on the Alternative charts.[1] The E.P. is composed of 6 songs[3], most of which were originally demos written and composed by Jonathan Facile.

Music Video[edit]

On March 31, 2011 the band released their debut music video for "Hold On"[2] filmed and directed by Phil Mohr.[4] The video was released primarily via YouTube and viral marketing on the band's Facebook, Myspace and ReverbNation profiles.
