I chose my name as a tribute to the classic radio and TV character Joe Friday played by Jack Webb on Dragnet.

His catchphrase, "Just the facts," reminds me of how encyclopedia articles should be written.

I am interested in accurate, neutral articles about con men and other criminals, and their tricks and techniques. I am also interested in neutral, well-referenced coverage of pseudoscience, fraud and disinformation.
