This template is to be used in the Google Street View article for listing locations that currently have SV coverage. It is kept separate from the article in order to prevent a large filesize of the page.
The purpose of this template is not to serve as a comprehensive list, but as a general idea of what is covered by SV.
When adding locations, please use common sense and follow the guidelines listed below. Please list only reasonably sizeable cities/towns that stand out within for the region where they are located, or have some other importance beyond the local area. Please do not list small places that are of interest to few people other than yourself. If in doubt, please discuss.
Here are some general guidelines:
1.) Only cities/towns that have coverage on the obvious majority of their streets should be listed. Those in which only the main road(s) passing through have coverage should not be listed.
2.) Suburbs of covered cities should not be listed. If a cluster of multiple major cities is covered, link to the article on the general area as opposed to a single city (e.g. Greater Los Angeles Area).
3.) Any cities/towns that do not fit these criteria should be removed. If you remove a city that lacks coverage, please state this in the edit summary. Also, when adding, please state what you added in the edit summary.
4.) If it gets to the point that almost all places in the world are covered by SV, or SV undergoes other major changes, please do not unilaterally remove this chart or the chart of a particular country without first discussing. Only if there is a clear consensus to abolish its use should this be removed. If so, this chart should not be deleted, because it has a long edit history. Rather, it should be merged or otherwise preserved where it can be easily accessible to others.
