Notes
  1. ^ Given as synonymous with Wrightoporia by Kirk et al. (2008), p. 28.
  2. ^ Kirk et al. (2008) (p. 52) consider Artomyces synonymous with Clavicorona (fide Staplers), but molecular evidence supports its recognition as a distinct genus.[15]
  3. ^ Kirk et al. (2008, p. 284) say that this genus is equivalent to Gloiothele (fide Hjorstam & Larsson, Windahlia 21, 1994); must email author to confirm.
  4. ^ Kirk et al. (2008, p. 625) list 2 species; Scopulodontia webbii was added in 2009.[62]
  5. ^ This is an anamorph of the genera Dichostereum, Heterobasidion, and Laurilia, Kirk et al. (208), p. 651.
  6. ^ Kirk et al. (2008, p. 724) give Vesiculomyces as synonymous with Gloiothele, but several authors retain it as distinct.[70][71]
  7. ^ Although Kirk et al. (2008, p. 742) consider Zelleromyces synonymous with Lactarius, several recent works keep them separate.[75][76]
