International Baccalaureate schools in Iran

[edit]

The International Baccalaureate(IB), formerly known as The International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO), is an international educational foundation headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland, founded in 1968. Cite error: A <ref> tag is missing the closing </ref> (see the help page). The organization's name and logo were changed in 2007 to reflect a reorganization. Consequently, "IB" can refer to the organization itself, any of the four programs, or the diploma or certificates awarded at the end of the program.

Iran has three international baccalaureate schools. They are Mehr-e-Taban international School[1], Shahid Mahdavi international School[2], and Tehran International School.[3]

Mehr- e-Taban International School is an authorized IB world school in Shiraz offering the Primary Years Programme, Middle Years Programme and Diploma Programme. Shahid Mahdavi School is an IB world school in Tehran offering the Primary Years Programme and Middle Years Programme. Tehran International School is an IB world school in Tehran offering the Diploma Programme.
