Samuele Rossini (The St Pancras Pianist) Born 4th July 1980 in Rimini, Italy. Samuele Rossini is a self taught Pianist Composer who gave his first public performance at the age of 13.

In 2012 having been made redundant in his native Italy, he decided to sell his keyboards and pianos and relocate to London in search of a new life. On November 6th he came across two pianos in St Pancras Internationall that following an art project called www.streetpianos.com by Bristol based artist Luke Jerram were kept on by the owners of St Pancras International, High Speed 1 for the general public to play.

Having sold all his keyboards and living in a hostel he was able to go to St Pancras everyday and play for 3-4 hours at a time. Commuters and tourists would stop and watch as he played theme tunes from famous films, TV shows mixed with a few of his own compositions

Located opposite The White Room and Fossil. Most days he can be seen playing his interpretations of famous film scores, tv show theme tunes, ballads, jazz, blues, and a few of his own compositions

In November 2012 he was spotted playing by his manager and publicist Paul Curtis who immediately was overwhelmed by Samuele Rossini Performance.

Appearance on ITV and Film

The following week Rossini appeared on London ITV news London ITV News with Toby Sadler about how fellow Italian Film Maker Fred Portelli had spotted Rossini in the station on his way to the Eurostar Terminal, Portelli returned to St Pancras and enquired what Rossini was still doing in the station. Rossini told Portelli his story and Portelli immediately decided to start making a film about Rossini which should be available in April 13


Debut Album "At St Pancras - There is always hope On December 19th Rossini attended a meeting at Searcys St Pancras Grand in St Pancras International where he was given a note book and asked if he could make his 1st album what songs would he put on there and why?

It took Rossini about 12 minutes, His notes in the moleskin book were then signed and dated, 19th December 2012, signed by his manager Paul Curtis and himself then placed on the St Pancras Piano which he played and were then photographed. On the same day Rossini was photographed by Sam Lane of Sam Lane Photography (The St Pancras Photographer). This image is now the image for his first album At St Pancras - There is always hope and Lane has gone on to take a further 3 photo shoots of Rossini in his St Pancras home.
