Hello! Welcome to my userpage. I am Sainsf, an Indian Wikipedian. I joined the community in 2010, but became actually active from 2012. It's been almost 10 years here; a long journey from back when I was in school to now, when I am a chemistry undergraduate. I have mostly been a contributor to natural history articles, and an active good article reviewer. I became less active here after 2016 due to big changes in real life, but I have started contributing significantly again from late 2019. I am thankful to many editors who helped me become who I am today here, especially Mysdaao and Sasata (who have since become inactive).
I can try doing reviews for you if I have the time and interest, just leave me a message on my talk page. Newbies, I would feel honored to help you! Note: This userpage is based on a design by Phaedriel (we miss you <3).
Though these userboxes I racked up from literally everywhere in my early days on Wiki (yeah I was a crazy teen) speak way more than you need to know about me (:P), here are some details anyway:
I joined Wikipedia way back in my early teens.. mostly on an impulse to create an article. Then I made all sorts of mistakes, even wondered if I did the right thing by joining. But nearly ten years later, I am so glad I did. This platform has helped me learn a lot how to communicate, how to write scientific articles and all in all has been a rewarding experience!
I am no expert on natural history, though I have a good understanding of biology up to an intermediate level. My interest in natural history is mostly amateurish, in real life I am a chemistry nerd. May be I will start working on chem articles later in the future, but I wish to improve a lot of neglected mammal articles for now.
I am female but sort of a tomboy. It amuses me every time I'm referred to as "he" :D
My stuff – This is where I treasure all my significant contributions in one place :)
Note: The GA, DYK or FA statuses mentioned here only show the levels up to which I significantly contributed in improving the articles, and may not indicate their present rating.
... that impala are known for their unique leaping ability, reaching heights up to 3 metres (9.8 ft)?
... that rock paintings of the dibatag have been discovered on the west bank of the Nile River, far from its present range?
... that the Mongalla gazelle continued its extensive migration in South Sudan despite three decades of civil war?
... that the mountain nyala, featured on the obverse of the Ethiopian ten santim coin, was the last species of large antelope to be discovered in Africa?"
... that the ears of the sitatunga are so specialized that they can pinpoint the direction of the origin of a sound?
If you lose hope, somehow you lose the vitality that keeps life moving, you lose that courage to be, that quality that helps you go on in spite of it all. And so today I still have a dream.
This user values the quality of Wikipedia articles over the quantity and thus supports the merging of related content and deletion of articles that violate policies and guidelines.

What happens when a Wikipedian dies? He or she just doesn't show up to edit anymore. Does anybody notice? Does anybody really even care? To all those Wikipedians who may have died and been forgotten here, Thank you for your contributions and Rest in Peace.

Peace is a state of balance and understanding in yourself and between others, where respect is gained by the acceptance of differences, tolerance persists, conflicts are resolved through dialog, peoples rights are respected and their voices are heard, and everyone is at their highest point of serenity without social tension. Happy Holidays to you and yours. ―Buster7☎ 14:29, 24 December 2019 (UTC)

Thank you for all you do as an editor, and for your excellent work as a GA reviewer. Faisalabad was not an easy review to tackle but you stood fast, went the extra mile, and helped make it a better article. Thank you. Atsme📞📧 10:57, 20 June 2016 (UTC)
The Random Acts of Kindness Barnstar
Dear Sainsf; I am delighted to share with you (and with our colleague w.carter) this barnstar, which I was awarded by Jamesmcardle for helping with his signature but, since you two first identified his need for assistance and the appropriate solution, I feel it should be shared within our spontaneous team of three. James still needs to apply the latest update to his signature, but I daresay it should be alright after that. Thank you for all your contributions to our encyclopedia and for helping your fellow editors. With kind regards; Patrick. ツ Pdebee.(talk)(guestbook) 14:42, 19 June 2016 (UTC)
The Barnstar of Diligence
Your clear, precise guidance in reviewing Sydney punchbowls pointed the way forward. Given the specialisation of the subject matter, your capacity to analyse and assess its material was a revelation to me. I was comfortably in the back seat with you driving, but learning how I might take the wheel in future. With gratitude! JamesMcArdle 12:40, 11 June 2016 (UTC)
The Barnstar of Diligence
Thank you for making the GA review (usually a rather gruesome and exhausting affair) of Sydney punchbowls into a pleasant and rewarding experience. Your collegial way of working with all the editors involved is an example to us all! w.carter-Talk 11:42, 11 June 2016 (UTC)
For your astounding GA reviews on Sphecomyrma, Meat ant, John S. Clark and Nothomyrmecia at FAC, and also for your outstanding contributions towards the mammals that were once neglected here. Your welcoming comments are appreciated by basically every editor too, which goes a long way here! Keep up the excellent work! Burklemore1 (talk) 10:21, 25 May 2016 (UTC)

The Citation Barnstar
For showing me how easy citation-editing can be! If it wasn't for that, manually filling templates and waiting for the ever-glitchy Citationbot would slowly drain my editing-powers... FunkMonk (talk) 05:50, 7 April 2016 (UTC)

Thanks a lot for your patience, support and guidance while reviewing Mahavira, Jain monasticism and Digambara for GA. Your positive attitude of suggesting and pinpointing flaws rather than rejecting the GA nomination is what inspired me to keep improving till the GA tag was recieved. -- Pankaj Jain Capankajsmilyo(talk·contribs·count) 09:35, 5 April 2016 (UTC)
